EMerald Home Care Services was created by Nicole Berry after caring for both of her parents, at the same time, until they both passed away in her home. She found it very difficult to find reliable services to provide the care her parents needed. Nicole made a promise to herself, and in honor of her parents, to start a company that would provide the needs of her clients and alleviate some of the burden from caregivers. Nicole is a dual board-certified nurse practitioner in family and psychiatric mental health who services the pediatric to elderly populations. She has been in the nursing field for almost 17 years. Before her nursing career, Nicole was a social worker and case manager. She currently owns The Evolution through Mind, Body, and Spirit Wellness Center and The Forever And A Day Foundation. The Evolution’s primary focus is on assessments, diagnostics, and medication management for mental health care. The foundation assists grieving families in coping with the loss of their child(ren) as she and her husband lost their son in 2009.
